Live safer, happier and longer

What is "aging in place"?

America is aging. The birth rate has been declining and people are living longer on the average. Not only are they living longer, but their quality of life has improved significantly as gerontological science continues to forge ahead. In short, seniors (all of us someday, hopefully) are living longer and enjoying it more.

Within this new paradigm of aging, a high percentage of seniors strongly prefers to stay in their own homes as long as practially possible, as opposed to moving into assisted living or nursing homes. Accordingly, a new industry, "aging in place", has sprung up in response to this significant and growing demand.

"Aging in place" is a program that remodels traditional housing designs to create senior living environments that are safe, secure, comfortable, convenient and supportive of the individual's medical requirements.

A new breed of technician, the "Certified Agent in Place Specialist" (CAPS), has evolved to fulfill the need for designing and implementing 'aging in place' modifications.

For seniors who wish to downsize their homes while retrofitting 'aging in place' modifications, as licensed real estate agents we can find and procure apartments that will accommodate the appropriate 'aging in place' features.
